We request that policyholders take comprehensive photos of the damaged items and complete contents sheets. Oftentimes, these photos are captured using a smartphone, digital camera, or film camera. Once taken, organizing these images from various devices into a single file and communicating them to the adjuster can pose difficulties.

Cellphone images are usually sizable files, limiting the number that can be sent via email at one time. Consequently, emailing isn't always a feasible option when there are multiple pictures involved. Some adjusters utilize file-sharing platforms to enable policyholders to share their photos effectively; however, consolidating images from various sources remains a necessity for the insured.

For certain individuals, particularly those not well-versed in technology, this process can be overwhelming and frustrating. It adds strain and anxiety to an already burdened policyholder. Upon completion, adjusters receive notifications for review and amendments before exporting an Excel spreadsheet and photo report through Contents Buddy for inclusion in the claim file.
